Quick question. I've been feeding my almost 14 week old GSD chicken necks/backs. I found a good price on turkey necks. Is there a significant difference between the two or is it pretty much the same? There seems to be less fat but the bones seem to be tougher than the chicken necks.
If your dog is good at chewing his food then turkey necks are fine, but I believe they are more bone compared to chicken necks, so need to feed less neck and more muscle meat to keep the ratio correct or your dog will have a hard time pooping
