Pat and Mike... Looks like you both got your wishes in. Did you guys call my breeder or what? As I was signing for the pup he started screaming bloody murder. One of the passengers from his flight came over and said to me "so, it was your puppy that screamed the whole flight"
I guess they could hear him in first class. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
I don't know why I bothered to bring a leash with me.... he latched onto my pant leg and we hobbled back to the car that way. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
What a cutie! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
When does the screaming stop? Well, as my young pups usually sleep on our bed, it doesn't really start. If it needs to go out during the night, one of us will wake up and take it out. We never have much of a problem with house-training because when the other dogs go for a toilet break, the pup goes too. As the pup gets older, it usually stops wanting to sleep on the bed and it occupies one of the seven dog beds in our bedroom. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The worst screamers we ever reared were in a litter of dobes; their kennel and pen was outside the kitchen door and they heard us as soon as we stirred in the morning. They raised the roof until we fed them.
HaHaHa..now you know what I was going through two months ago <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Actually I have this little foyer in my house and I put the little brat in her crate out there and shut the door. Then I shut the door to my bedroom turned on the noise machine (thanks Cindy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> ) turned on the fan put a pillow over my head and slept like a baby <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Make sure you take plenty of pictures. I want to see the pup. What did you name him? Congrats on the new addition. It's so exciting....
I have a suggestion that might work very well for anyone having this problem - put a blanket or sheet over the crate after you put him inside and he's gone to bed, the same as you would for a parrot. It works for my dogs so it might just work for you too.
Deanna,Congrats on your new addition. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
Don't you just love the puppy breath and all that goes with it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
I've had to move my pup from the kennel into the garage. Guess she wants to be close to us. She is much quieter.
He latched onto my pantleg and we hobbled back to the car that way. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Sounds like a keeper. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
