I quess I might neeed help from small dog owners mabye.
Bruiser has been being leashed to me for a few weeks now I was not doing it at first because I was scared I would step on him but now a few things are getting out of control.
So we are going back to step one.
Walking bruiser is now 7 1/2 pounds and almost 5 months old.
How long of walks should he be getting.
Here is his shedueale to give you a ides.
6 wake up go potty.
Come in eat
7 go for first walk during the day 20 minutes come home do OB work.
we are normally done by 7:30
He is usally ready for a nap in kennel
he sleeps about 2 hours up potty
walk 20 minutes ob work again.
then we rest for a few minutes
then we do socialization work for 30 mintues.
Normally by now it is lunch time I do training with his hole lunch meal. Sit stay down come dance. These are what we are working on.
Then he will sleep for about 3 hours
Wake up potty dinner early and the night is relazation for the night if it is m w f we go swimming in our pool
The thing is that at night he is still crazy hyper.
I do play with him at night but no training involded at all just fun we play fetch on the 20 foot line him and phoenix both
Is there anything I can add to the mix to help him at night
He is normally done by 9 pm he is in bed
I relized that my post was way out in left field from what I was asking sorry.
The main thing I am looking for is can I add something to his routine to make him more tired at night from like 5 to 8 30 he is crazy hyper we have 4 bathroom breaks in between there.
And play time on a 20 foot lead for about 30 minutes this dog has never ending energy.
I have come to find out for a chi that is strange.
His routine is above so you can see what we do through out the day and he and phoenix get supervised play time in the evening also
