Always had female sch dogs--How would you say training is different with a male especially in the early months. Puppy is out of Karthago/Mink lines through the female -- I want to develop his drive correctly but do not want to end up with dominance issues. Plan to do sch imprinting and socialization from the start.
I don't think there's any difference. You want to build him up just like a female. A schh puppy should think he's the biggest baddest thing on the planet, until one day he learns he's the SECOND biggest baddest one (right below me). Being vigilant with your expectations and painfully consistent will handle all dominance.
