Ok bruiser hate his crate.
I mean screams his head off for hours on end.
Pees in it wont eat in it nothing.
He has been like this sence the day I brought him home.
No big deal covered it up left what ever.
Well now he can hold his bladder and potty training is going great.
I have a bell on my door that him and phoenix hit when they need to go potty he is telling me now.
here is my main question.
I have a corner in my house that i can fit a baby gate in.
Which give him room to lay down have some toys and his food and water bowl they have sets of bowl they do not free eat by any means.
I will say it is about 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep. He cant climb the baby gate could I use that for his kennel type situation. I know it sounds weird but i need something to give and this I did one day while I was home to see how he owuld react he loved it.
Any advice would be great.
Also no one lets him out of the kennel when crying. It me and my husband only at home. He eats in his kennel he sleeps in there and he is in there when we are not home also

If you ever think you might need to crate him for some reason in the future than I would stick to your guns now and keep on crating him. It's hard when you live in an apartment with neighbors to worry about, but he WILL be crate trained if you stick to it.
If you don't think you'll ever need to crate him...ever...then your set-up with the gate is Ok, I guess. I'm a big fan of having a crate-trained dog, even if my dog doesn't now spend much time in it.
I wonder what he might do if you left the house and left him loose behind a baby gate? A determined dog, even a small one, left to their own devices might unpleasantly surprise you.
i think I am going to find out tomorrow
I start my new job and my mom is going to come check on him
every hour my house is puppy proofed so the most he could do is use the restroom and pull all his toys out.
No cords shoes anything.
i have a traveling crate a cloth one thats his car seat he is fine in that one on a trip we went to dallas and he likes that one. But when we are in the house he hates it to.

I hope this doesn't come across as sounding inhumane or mean but if no one is going to be home tomorrow, that may be a good time to get him used to the crate.
No one home, no distractions, and no reaction if he throws a fit...and your mom can still come over a few times to take him out to potty and to play. If you think your neighbors won't blow a gasket, you might want to consider it.
Crazy old lady right next door she has a problem with me and my husband being a inter rasel couple.
She has called animal control 4 times sense she has been hear a month.
And the cops 3 times.
Me and my husband play videos game the few times we get enough time. She say our tv is to lous she can hear it or something stupid when our MP3 are on and the video games are not even going sound wise.
Oh and by the way our MP3 is our cell phone.
So if she was going to be gone I would do it for sure but she is retired and does not know how to mind her own bussiness.
Sorry if that sounded rood but she is noisy
Sarah you gave me a great idea and my mom said yes.
She will come to my house and bruiser will go to hers he is comfertable over there just like here.
Her nighgbers all work during the day.
Thank you so much I never thought about that before
Well we did it I think.
We will find out tonight I just got off. And he had not peed in the crate and he ate his dinner in there I am not sure yet but he will be crated. Everytime I go to work
