How many times should my dog, not me, do a #2 on fast day? Mali did three tonight, first was good on our bike ride but went two more times in the yard playing. Did not look at them in the dark. Fed late last night around 9:30 as I always do before fast day. First meal after is always muscle meat with egg, no bones. I am always concerned with backing up with bones.
Exercise stimulates the urge to go. I doubt there was a large volume on either of the later attempts. Sometimes all they pop out is a rabbit turd.
I am not sure why you think bones will back your dog up after a fast? Bones that are harder to move through (like pork necks)are harder to move through reguardless of what was eaten before them. Transit times in dogs are much shorter.
