I was wondering if anyone of you have ever used Mazuri supplements to your raw diet. I was looking on line for some good quality food for my ducks and happened upon Mazuri, a subsidiary of purina. THey provide food for zoos. I noticed they had a supplement to raw food for carnavores. Has anyone ever heard how their products are or used them. I tried to copy the contents to their suppliment for raw meat diets for cannines and couldn't get it to copy. Just wondering what someone who came in contact with them thought.
Thanks
The ingredient list for their "Mazuri Exotic Canine Diet", reads like this:
Ground corn, poultry by-product meal, ground brown rice, corn gluten meal, porcine animal fat preserved with BHA, poultry fat preserved with ethoxyquine... and so on.
Corn, corn gluten meal, etc, is CRAP. Fillers.
BHA is a carcinigen.
Ethoxyquine is the ingrediant that led to the mass-dog-food recalls.
This is NOTHING more than crap kibble, being packaged as something good and "exotic". This is no more exotic than Kibbles-n-bits.
I wouldn't trust anything else they sell, if they put their name on this junk.
I know. I was exited until I got to the site and read the ingredient list for their total diet.
Their raw supplements actually look alright, basically vitamins, minerals, etc... but I couldn't trust anything from the same company that is churning out crap dog kibble, and what's worse, selling it to ZOOS, to feed to wolves.
