I've searched here and on the web and have been unable to come up with a definitive answer on whether chicken gizzards count as muscle meat or organ meat.
I figured someone here would know. Connie, perhaps?
Gizzards are muscle. It wraps around the chicken/bird stomach and grinds the food and grit (birds intentionally swallow some grit/small rough rocks) against each other to "chew" their food.

Gizzards are a very dark meat and I would feed them in the same quantities as heart (rich meat and may cause some loose stool).
I feed heart in fairly large quantities when I can get it and have had no problem with loose stools. But I will monitor them when increasing the gizzards.
Btw, love your sig pic. I crack up every time I see it.
