Just wanted to say THANKYOU to Ed and his advice to use the dom. dog collar with the prong for a back-up.
Had a quick-release prong come apart two nights ago while there was a moron woman and her loose dog coming at Jake and I. I gave him a quick pop to bring his attention back to me and heard a jingle. Looked down to see the prong hanging. I snugged up the dom. dog collar and Jake held his sit.

I use them as a backup collar too. I love the quick release, it's just so much easier on my puny little fingers and this is a good compromise for me with their higher failure rate.
