hi we have 2 of these bark collars that ed recommends (tri-tonics). for one of our gsds (the female), the bark collar works great. however, for rex (our male- 14mths) who barks a lot, for seemingly no reason ( i think its basically protective barking (ie he hears another dog/sees another dog, or just wants to let everyone know he is there), he can bark straight thru the bark collar. its on the highest setting , is on snugly, etc. any suggestions on what to do now to stop/limit his barking? thanks much keith
yep, its on snug and right over his vocal cords...it doesnt bother him at all...well actually there are times when he will yelp/bark due to the shock but for him it doesnt bother so much.the other dog stops her flat out..i just dont know what to do re the male though
