At the recent Leerburg seminar, the office staff had all sorts of goodies out for us to look at, and a new item caught my eye - and after using them for three weeks now I just want to say..."why the h*ll didn't anyone think of this before?"
I'm talking about the Cinch-it collar. I bought three of these and these things are *slick*! I put my Dogtra ecollar onto these and getting a proper fit now is a no-brainer.
Seriously, these things are sweet - if you use an ecollar, get one, you'll be glad you did!

We just got the dogtra e-collar and a cinch it, but we can't seem to get the collar through the gaps on the e-collar unit. Any suggestions for getting it put together.
Seems like the cinch it is just to thick to go through.

The lock does not stay in the locked position under certain circumstances. This can result in the loss of the collar as well as the expensive ecollar receiver.
I notified the manufacturer about this issue.
The manufacturer was all ears. We discussed possible remedies such as a cover over the lock.
Hopefully there will be some changes made to the lock system of this great product.
We just got our Dogtra 280 and cinch-it collar last week. My husband managed to pull the cinch-it collar through the e-collar unit, it was a tight fit though.
I think on Ed's website, in the clip where he introduced the cinch-it, he had recommended Vaseline and a pair of pliers

It's a VERY tight fit. It took me almost twenty minutes to get it where I wanted. Try rocking the collar through the Dogtra unit by pulling on the collar and rocking it left and right.
@Lee
So far I haven't had the collar coming off but I do check the lock quite often. I'll be eagerly awaiting a new improved Cinch-it.

The manufacturer just sent me a new replacement for my old collar. The slide is much stiffer on the new collar. I suspect with normal "wear" the slide gradually, over time, glides easier into the unlock position.
we also enjoy the cinch collar. Cody is little 11.8 lbs and we could never find a collar that fit well. when we ordered the cinch collar we could adjust it just where we wanted it!
Great product!
