I'm glad this came up. I'd been looking/comparing/pricing these last week for something to rotate for use in my car and truck. Last night I made an impulse purchase of one by Boots & Barkley that was at Target. I'd never heard of it but the price was attractive at $35. Ugh. It's going back.
Does the Pet Edge sit pretty square without looking like it'll collapse in?
I've been looking at the Canine Campers that I saw on the Pack Structure DVD but I see the cart button is now gone to buy them here. Any reviews on this one and Pet Gear's Home N' Go?
The burgandy one.
It has poles that hold it up but the poles pop out and there is a storage on the bottum for the to poles.
I love it phoenix has free rome of the house. So she just sleeps in her kennel with the door open. But I did use it with the door closed also. Before she earned her freedom.
So hers sits with rods or metal bars like a kennel it can't role or anything thwe rods or bars make a frame around the bottum top and sides.

The Guardian Gear one from PetEdge does not have any metal tubing that you have to assemble inside of the crate - essentially it has supports sewn in the front and back that provide support/shape. It does sag a little where it zips together, but is essentially square. I sit stuff on mine all the time and it maintains shape.
However, I have heard on all my agility lists that the Canine Camper is a good crate...most people seem to like them. I just chose to go with the other because it was the same price to buy two crates and I did not plan on using them often (but have decided I really like them!)
