This sunday, at 10 a new series starts up on animal planet. The first show will be going into details about the Michael Vick case, the investigation, and, most importantly, the recovery of the dogs seized, and the accomplishments the dogs have made since their rescue.

Wow, what a cool story. I would love to see how the rescued dogs have turned out. What a good thing to show people the potential rescued Pits have to be great pets.
I would like to see the different perspectives and people's opinions on the case, like this article mentions.

Anyone that has a different opinion than Michael Vick deserves more than what he will ever get for this, needs to think long and hard on their outlook of fighting dogs.
There is NO excuse, reason or explanation he could give to change my mind that he is a stupid, "look at me, I make millions and still am an A**HOLE that can do what he pleases". He is the worst kind of SCUM.
I don't even care if he is sorry. If you think you are going to be sorry for something later, then it is probably best not to do it in the first place.
With that vented.....sorry.....I am kind of looking forward to the show, however I doubt I will get all the way through it. Hard for me to watch stuff like that.

Me too, however, I am looking forward to seeing the dogs today, and how they are. The sucess rate as of this past Jan. was phenomenal...

exactly what kind of opinions and perspective were you looking for? I sincerely hope that you weren't trying to start up a war on whether or not Michael Vick "deserved" his "punishment"...

My opinion on your first paragraph, yes, that's a good thing.
My opinion on your second paragraph,
Re: people who are involved in dog fighting: They are all a bunch of scum sucking pieces of rancid trash, who should be ground up like hamburger and raw-fed to their own dogs. If they wouldn't poison the dogs.

Dog fighting should be treated as a Class A Felony.
In Pierce County, WA, where I am lucky enough to live, if a person has a dog removed from their possession due to animal cruelty, they are prohibited from owning another animal, of any sort, for 10 years.
It should be life, and it should be the standard everywhere in the world.
