I would have posted this under the DS section but that section appears to be dead at the moment...
I am NOT familiar with various bllodlines and atributes of certain DS lines/families, and I saw a post where you said you are familiar with some lines/families..
My question is this? Are you familiar with any DS bred by Mike Suttle of Loganhaus? He has bred ARKO to TRUUSJE...
I am in the market for a HARD (lol) DS with nerves of steel, dominance, active agression and drive drive drive...and have been steered toward this breeding by several people...
Any input would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Hey Mike,
I want to title in PSA and WIN P/P comps lol...j/k
What do you know about the bloodlines? any input?
For my personal dogs I have always liked dogs that paint a clear picture of what they are when on a working field. Yes they are more work, and can be a bigger liability, but well worth it IMHO. The completed package is just so much more impressive if certain traits are present to a greater degree. I am experienced in handling these types of dogs and I just prefer a more serious type dog, I know the responsibilty factor and effort certain dogs take but like I said, I like the completed package better...
I have had a few weak malinois lately and am looking for something that I will personally like. I have had a short string of dissappointments lately..
thanks

I cannot say that I follow breeding of the DS. I handled one on the road for while, a tough, tough, huge, knothead I wouldn't wish on anyone who didn't have experience with the most powerful of dogs.
I have a female that my wife jogs with but is spayed after disappointing results from 2 breedings. She was a daughter of Arras from Pegge.
Others I purchase simply by what they are as individuals when they become young adults for the purpose of either detection or patrol work. Their popularity in the US has made finding nice young adults in Holland more difficult lately.
