Have you had him tested yet for fertility by a vet? Brucellosis testing for everyone involved?
How many breedings did you do with each bitch over how many days?
Really there are alot of things on both sides that can cause issues but in my mind the brucellosis test and fertility/semen check by a vet is a good place to start.
Was your male only bred to 2 females or many females on just 2 occasions? The timing could have been off(not enough time with the females). Or there might be other problems, with both sides) like Melissa said.
Or, if your male is anything like my male lab, he won't get the job done, period. All my lab does is hump the wrong end! lol
not to be too nasty, but just why is this male so exceptional that he should be bred?
and if you know your male is so exceptional, why aren't you knowledgeable enough about breeding to at least get a sperm evaluation done on your boy? and were the bitches health-tested/cleared before you bred them?

Ann... not to be nasty but that really doesn't matter to the question the OP made. Lots of people are new to dogs, lots of people are just getting a start with their own lines. There is a learning curve to everything and I like to believe this place is a good one to ask questions and get honest answers without the bulls*it. As far as who is this male, who cares? he could be a mutt he picked up off a street corner or a champion. In his eyes the value is there, who am I to argue with it? After all I'm not buying his dogs, I don't know what his breeding goals are or even if he has them but I can certainly help him with a little input.
That said, lots of people (including myself) don't do fertility tests on male dogs unless there is a problem as I maybe breed my males 2-3 times for litters in their life and sperm count/mobility has yet to come up.
Best of luck on the testing Sachin, I hope everything comes back golden for your boy. It could simply be something as simple as bad luck.
