I'm not new, but a few things have happened since last year.
I got pregnant, married my husband, moved back to ND, then moved into our first official house, had a big beautiful baby girl, added another dog to my household-now there's 1 GSD, 1 choc. Lab, a saint bernard puppy, 2 cats and a baby!
Just thought I'd update everyone, since I didn't do this earlier

Babies and puppies. Ain't it grand? HAA!
I'd rather potty train a puppy any day, but wait, you have a girl child, so...smooth sailing (IE: can't aim for the ceiling, or the plant etc, just because she wants to see what would happen.)
Good deal. What did you end up naming that St. Bernard? Fun pics, I love the one with the GSD in platz and puppy being all fluppy!
My saint girl's name is Lily. She is a big fuzzy butt! Sweet, mellow(never had a mellow puppy before) and get's along with my other two(Shaed and Otto). It's fun to watch them all play. THey all know their place in the house(Lily's learning) and with the baby(she's the boss, even though she's barely 4 months). It has been fun so far with everything happening. And I was hoping for a boy originally, but now thinking about the aiming for the plant or the ceiling... I'm happy I have my girl! My poor husband is sorely outnumbered-the only other guy in the house is Otto! He'll get over it... Maybe

I have a big old goldfish named Lily too. 
Perhaps you could get a boy goldfish for your husband...to even things out a bit. LOL.
