He is purebred. I know George and Cathy and they have some cool dogs. They live about 1 1/2 hours from us, and have come up here to train on our field.
If I was in the market for a boxer, I'd get one from them in a second.
They are really great people and very dedicated to the breed.
Yes, they really are great people. They try hard for the Boxer breed and put their money where their mouth is. They have more police K9 Boxers than anyone, including Europe. They also happen to be the Pres and VP of the USA-Box (which I'm a member of), which is the national working Boxer club, and also hold European style conformation shows.
But yeah Angela, that is a purebred Boxer haha. The German Boxers look quite a bit different and work a helluva lot different than the American Boxer. Nice butt and all
Well, it was the remark about a dental problem making him inelegible to "compete" and the supermodel butt comment that made me wonder about showlines.
I didn't realize there was that much difference between German and American boxers. I guess it is like the difference between the German and American Rotties. They look different and also work differently! (I thought at first glance the dog was a Dogue de Bordeaux!) I sure would not want to be a bad guy and have HIM come after me! How intimidating! He looks like a powerful tank!
Ohhh.. right. Yeah, I think the dental problem, means he must have broken a tooth or so, which makes it hard on the dog to be caught and grip a hard sleeve for competitions. Not so much a problem biting into nice, soft, bad guy flesh
