They look like they are serious and ethical breeders. I like that they are promoting training and titles and giving a working breed dog a "job" to do.
The only thing I didn't like is that in many of the photos the dogs seemed to have the weak-looking back end common to GSDs. (sloped back, crooked back legs, bent knees, cow hocks).
I guess it must not affect working ability but my personal preference is I don't like that look.
Other than that they seem to have sound breeding goals and good knowledge of their bloodlines.
I do like the discount/free puppy program and think it is a good idea. I never heard about anything like that before.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems strange to promote titling, and not do it on your own stud dogs before making babies with them. He does have a BH, but to me that is hardly enough to know if he is breeding material.
This guy lives in a small town in Alaska with no road access 6 months out of the year. It may simply be that he has very limited opportunities to get a dog titled or even train with other people.

It is limited to Alaska. I talked to them before I got Brutus. I was planning to get a pup from them and we spoke numerous times over the phone.

Maybe we are talking about 2 different things. When you buy a puppy, you become a part of the free puppy program for your next puppy no matter where you live. It says on the site "All you pay is the purchase price less the discount described above and the shipping related expenses." I believe they have a foster program similar to Leerburg, that is limited to Alaska.
Yes, I liked the idea of the free puppy program, but having a CJ granddaughter sold me.

Enrique, I think that the free puppy program is for all states, not just limited to Alaska. From my understanding, it's the payment plan option that is for Alaska residents only.
I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted it. You have talked to them and I haven't, so sorry if I was wrong.
I also think that it is a sound idea. It gets more people trying to get out and work with their dog and work towards a title and not just sit back and think about it.

Jaylene,
I do too. 'Q' litter. Very, VERY pleased with our pup. Picture here is a few months old.

Klatolklin was great to work with. No issues with the purchase of our pup. To this point, he's everything they said he'd be, and more.

Nice pup Neil..
I think a puppy program is great, and for me, a breeder that wants to keep contact with his buyers speaks volume. Too many breeders want you to buy from them, but then they hope not to hear from you ever again unless you want to buy another one of their pups. That I don't like. I, myself offer a 6 weeks course obedience class with anyone that buys one of my pups and I donate a lot of my time , not to include I babysit for free all of my off springs and if they are kept on raw I feed for free during their stay. Ask any of my buyers, they are welcome to comment here. I give a full commitment to my buyers and my pups. I think any program that motivates puppy buyers to stay with you as a breeder is great and it builds a good relationship between the buyer and seller. I get to see all of my offsprings. Even Yukko (from this board) always keeps in touch and sends me video & pictures of her female ( she got from me)I see how great of care they are all receiving. I have made great friends through my breedings and it's fun & rewarding. I really think it makes a difference when you keep in touch and get involved with the buyers. I give that breeder thumbs up!
