Ok, this is kind of a weird question, but I'm having a little trouble with my 7 month old GSD completely swallowing her treats. I'll reward her and we go on and then a few seconds later all of a sudden she'll give a little cough or like a big blow through her throat (it's hard to describe over the 'net) and the treat will come back into her mouth she'll swallow it again! at least it never touches the ground and nothing else comes with it, but geez. it's weird. I think she tries to swallow the treat whole and it doesn't go down all the way. she does it 2-3 times in a 5 minute training session usually. I started off training her with kibble and then tried Zuke's minis and she still did it. I've also tried vaious other soft treats with no "success." It's not that it's a huge problem or even a real problem at all except really annoying and slows down the training a bit. She doesn't choke. Just wondering if anyone else had encountered it.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

Mine has always done that, I never really thought too much about
it before. Because I don't want a lot of chewing, treats are the
size of a pea. Since, I do not allow eating off the ground it
doesn't slow us down too much.

Veeda does this pretty often. Rarely ever on the track but I don´t think we have done a OB lesson with food where she hasn´t done it. It seems to me that she just tries to get the treats down so fast so we could get on with training but gets them down the wrong pipe or something
