I am hoping that maybe someone out there might have some ideas for me....
I am looking for an agitation harness for my ACD Frost. The problem is I am having trouble finding one small enough to fit her. I am just shocked at this :-p She is right now about 28 pounds and will likely top out at 32 pounds. Her ribcage circumferance is currently 21 inches. I like to those nylon agitation harnesses but wondered if anyone knows of anywhere that can maybe do something custom or has small sizes available. I have searched Leerburg etc, to no avail.
Right now I am just using a Premier harness and she is fine with it and likely would continue to be fine with it but the way she lunges into the harness makes me wish the harness was a little more than unpadded 1/2 inch nylon webbing.
I would be interested in good quality small harnesses as well, but for a 17ish lb dog. A harness that he couldn't eat through (he's done that to two so far). Due to finances we haven't been out at the training field lately (FR), but we are still training and should be back out at the field with our trainer soon.
Ingrid, if you find a place and could let me know, that'd be great.
I think I would be interested too. My next dog will probably top out maximum at 25-30 lbs. I bought the puppy leather leash in one of my latest orders and I really like it!
I ended up using a person in Vancouver, BC that makes weight pulling and walking harnesses that I knew from my weight pulling days and got her to make a custom harness for Frost.
It turned out pretty darn cute (at least I think so!). One side of the harness says "Frost" and the other says "Bite" - as in frostbite Of course, I am probably jinxing her and she will never bite the sleeve again
