My pup Tazer is a 17 week old GSD. The photos are of him at 14 weeks old and as you can see he is going to be a bit of a bruiser as we say in England!!. I want to change his food and cant quite do the Leerburg way just yet but am working on it for 2009. My research is telling me that Solid Gold Wolf Cub is excellent. Has anyone any comments about this food good or bad please?
I would not feed this food. The only Solid Gold food I recommend is their grain free and it's not labeled for puppies. Out of the first seven ingredients in Wolf Cub FIVE are grains.
Ty so much I worked down the list and found a supplier who is reasonably local for Chicken Soup and Innova Puppy food. None of the others though. As Chicken soup is higher on the list is that becauase you prefer it? If not which one would be your choice?
I used to feed my pup Wolf Cub and switched to Wellness, which she ate much better than Wolf Cub but then moved to Innova and she is doing the best on that.
From Leerburgs list I am able to get hold of Chicken soup for the dog lovers soul..stupid name for a food...LOL I cant get the others but online and would prefer to be able to buy it for the moment.
Anyone got any comments on that before I feed it to Tazer?
I started my new puppy on Chicken Soup dog food. She was shipped via airplane, so had none of her previous brand, and went straight on to Chicken Soup, not that I recommend that, but I was so surprised to see it didn't upset her stomach at all. She is now four months old, and her adult coat is coming in very shiny and she looks great.
She doesn't eat very much of it, maybe 3.5 cups a day, and poops are firm and small. I am happy with it. I try to feed some raw along with it as well as yogurt. Working seven days a week, I'm not organized enough to do totally raw yet!
