My bf & I went to see Bolt Friday night. It was really cute A little more kid oriented than I thought it would be, but still funny. The hamster is hilarious...
Little bit of social commentary in there but nothing new. I keep thinking Bolt must be a GSD
I would recommend it to those with or without kids, lol.
I took my son last night, we both really liked it, but he did get a little bored towards the end. I felt like such a goober though because the stupid movie made me tear up twice lol. Animal movies do that to me though...I had to hide in the bedroom and read when my husband and son were watching where the red fern grows last week LOL, because that one turns me into a slobbery pile of mush

I am glad its dark in movie theaters.
Same, I know I'll be a crying baby during Marley and Me for the same reason. I can't even look at the end of that book without tearing up.
By way of introduction and my very first post let me just say that my wife and I just finished reading "Marley & Me" and we laughed/cried all the way through -- problem was, we read together as we commute to and from work and on lunch breaks. Last Wednesday my wife's co-workers asked her after returning from lunch: "What is wrong?!?! What happened!?!?" -- it's tough getting over a big crying session in less than five minutes. Her fellow employees probably thought it was all the husband's fault (me), then later we return home to finish up the book while we prepared dinner. Our college aged son and his friend got quite a kick out of both of us in tears and uncontrollable bawling -- oh, the humiliation.
BTW. we just bought a Toy Fox Terrier as a christmas puppy (still too young to take away from mama). It should prove quite the focal point for all of our kids coming home from school (college) for the holidays -- we're hoping we can count on one of them to help out taking the puppy out for mid-day potty trips while we still have to work.
