Thanks to all for the housebreaking support. Storm, who is 4 months old, has done well in the housebreaking, but we have another issue. She is let out around 6 am to potty when my husband goes to work. When my husband leaves, Storm starts barking and whining. (I can't tell you if she does this when we all leave the house.) My son and I don't have to get up for another hour or so. I have tried waiting it out, but she continues for most of the hour. I have let her know we are in the house and have put her in the crate with a toy or two and sometimes that will work. She seems to do best if I crate her in our bedroom, but I am afraid that I am starting a bad habit, and those develop fast. Does anyone have a suggestion to help Storm settle more in the am, or will I have to become an early riser!! Thanks to anyone who can help.
