This year, I will celebrate that in my family, no one is in Afghanistan or Iraq, and that we will be together. I will remember those who are not able to celebrate at their families' table because they are in harms way. And I shall remember those so much less fortunate... And I will hope people can put aside the fears of our uncertain economy for the day, and perhaps from their celebration of thanksgiving will have a bit more hope in the times to come. Mike A. It will be a hard Thanksgiving with our parents (my husbands and mine) both passing away last year. But it makes family even sweeter. I pray distant family members will be reunited, and hurts and wounds healed, and for those in the military who have no one of their own families to be with, or those who are here in the states lonely for their loved ones, I pray they will have contact with them somehow. I am thankful for all of you and your experiences with your dogs you share with me. I have learned a lot from your sharing. May God bless the United States of America and you. Sharon Empson
