I have a question. My husband went to the health food store for me to pick up my Vit E Mixed Tocopherols and brought home VIT. E Mixed Tocopherols with 100 mcg of Selenium.
Can this be given to my dogs. I read on the post that Selenium is good, but, couldn't figure out the amounts. Thanks for any information that you can give me.

I would not give it.
Selenium deficiency in dogs is very rare, and the safety range is narrow. Also, beef and poultry (and fish and other meats) are good natural sources of selenium. (That is, in this country, a dog's diet that was deficient in selenium would be a problem in a lot more areas than that one, because it would probably be deficient in meat. JMO.)
That dosage of 100 mcg. is double the RDA for an adult human.
Overdosing on minerals isn't good, even if they do work with certain vitamins as antioxidants (as selenium does).
