I didn't even know this was a THK product until I saw the warm broth suggestion in the THK email newsletter.
I have an adopted senior who is doing just great on his raw diet, except that very cold food first thing in the morning gives him a little emergency squat. (THAT took a while to figure out.) So I was taking his RMBs out of the 'fridge at 5 a.m. and then going back to bed.
Now I am just pouring hot Ice Pups broth over his morning meal!
I made a couple of cups of it and I just microwave a little of the pre-made liquid every morning.
P.S. It smells good and it tastes good. Tastes like food! (Yes, I tried a teaspoon.)
I decided to order several boxes as emergency & camping rations for the pup.
I noticed the Icepups when I was making my other purchases, but I didn't know what to think of it. Danke has always adored ice cubes. I made tons of fruity, peanut butter cubes for her this summer.
Now that I've got a positive review, I might just order some with my next THK run.

I think you'll be happy with it. I'm pretty surprised at how good the house smells when I heat it. I plan to have it around next summer too, for its "other" function as Ice Pups.
P.S. I keep THK in the house for emergencies and travel, too, and to use sometimes as a thin "gravy" over the raw food just for additional variety.

I emailed THK a couple of days ago asking for calorie and sugar info on the Ice Pups mix, since I am using the broth now almost daily (although in very small amounts compared to the whole diet, of course), and after some research on their part, got satisfactory answers. (The ingredients are on the package, but I wanted the sugar proportion.)
27 calories per teaspoon of the dry mix, which is mainly poultry, and the honey is only about 2 %.
I'd prefer no honey (or any kind of sugar), but this amount puts it into the same category as most commercial training treats and is acceptable to me.
