Getting ready for the blizzard that's slowly developing here. Living in ND (and right about in the middle of the blizzard warning) can be interesting in the winter. The last few years have been mild. Now, it's in the single digits with a wind chill below zero. I know I'm not the only one that gets to experience this kind of weather. But, man oh man, I could sure go for a warm trpical island right now!
Hang in there Keleah!
I'm from northern VT, so I know nasty @ss winter storms all too well... at least its the weekend and you can snuggle down for the day with a good book and some hot chocolate or cider (of course a little peppermint schnapps in the hot cocoa or bourbon in the hot cider will take the chill of winter weather in no time! :grin
Yeah, and you guys just got boogered! At least my hubby has off for the next 3 days, we can keep eachother warm! lol And one of us is going to have to make a run to the liquor store before it gets real bad and they close up.

I like to put a little Bailey's in my coffee .

Yeah we did, and we rather enjoyed it!
We are so used to it here that it really doesn't change much about the routine. When it's below zero I just wear long johns on my morning walk and gob the paw-wax on my doggie's feet.
Bad weather just means a "snow day" and the opportunity to be LAZY and a little soused...it's all good
