I have been doing protection for a while but was not able to able to be in a position to compete till now. I have been trying to find info on things like IPO's and FH 1. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places but I cannot find the requirements for things like IPO1, IPO2, IPO3, VPG3, FH1 ect.....
Do I need rulebooks? Are they not online?
My other question is I have a dog that seems to only be good at tracking. I do not have an AKC breed so I cannot track with them. Any other good tracking venues?

Well, to start with, HERE is a link to one of the Leerburg articles on Schutzhund. It is essentially one of the rulebooks and gives you much of the basics. And there are a lot of links, good books and DVDs on this page .
IPO is pretty much the same as SCH with some minor variances. VPG is the “new” Schutzhund title; they just essentially changed the name. VPG stands for Vielseitigkeitspruefung Fur Gebrauschshunde which means Versatility test for Working Dogs
Also, in Schutzhund you can get just an obedience title (OBI, OBII, OBIII), a tracking title only (TRI, TRII, TRIII and I am 99% sure that you can also get the FHI and FHII titles as well) or the BH without any of the protection work at all. You cannot get a standalone protection title however.
