If I didn't have pets... I would be a level 80 Hunter on WOW already and not just a 64 - LOL -(thinking only gaming geeks will understand this one!!!)

I wouldn't have those special face licks after a bad day, the snuggles my female poodle gives rival any man, the bouncy spins that crack me up in the morning as they get bready to go potty. Dogs rule!!!

If I didn't have a dog I would still have the money to play WoW.

If I didn't have dogs I could afford steak dinners, and spending some time out at clubs without feeling like I left something undone at home.
My house would be disturbingly quiet with only the gentle hum of aquariums rather than the gentle snooze noise coming from my couch, under my desk, and the click click click of nails on my tile.
I would have no reason to put my bike back in order because who would I enjoy those rides with.
The countless hours hours I could devote to video games would consume my life. I would have an X box 360 and Playstation and the hours I would burn playing away my life would likely draw enough energy to put at least 3 species on the endangered species list.
I would be planning my trip around the world not by which kennels/breeders I wish to visit and aquire dogs from but rather normal touristy stuff.
How droll, how bland, and cliche my life would be.
