OK, so I resisted as long as I could from getting into the whole Facebook, MySpace thing. I joined Facebook last summer and never used it.
in the last couple of months, I've found it really useful to keep in touch with my family and friends. My nephew was born a month ago and my brother kept us updated on the birth and everything with Facebook. Heck, when I had my son I didn't even own a cell phone.
Some may say I have become addicted. I say it balances out my other addictions, like dogs and horses. I'm more well rounded now. LOL

LOL...I resisted it in the beginning, too, and mainly just used it as a search engine.
But the thing is...I've found SO many people I lost touch with over the years, people I searched for and couldn't find anywhere, and I've reconnected with them and it's just great. Some of these people and I go back 30+ years!
It's given me an opportunity to thank some people I never had a chance to thank, get to know some people as the adults they are now...I think the whole thing is pretty cool.

Hey Cindy, can I add you and Ed as friends?
Me too! It's like a trip down memory lane!
Sure you can add us as friends. Warning: Ed knows how to add people as friends and that's about the extent of his knowledge of FB. If you want to send him a message, you gotta use good old fashioned email LOL
A friend got me involved in FaceBook and it is fun! I'm kinda like Ed though, I like having friends, looking at their photos and keeping up with what is going on in their lives. I don't have the patience to figure out how to use it to its full potential! I'm going to try to do better in '09.
I got signed up on Facebook awhile back due to needing access for a case and a bunch of people found me from my past and it has blossomed from there. If it is alright, I will try to add you and Ed as well Cindy :-)
