I have three velco kittien that I bottle fed from before their eyes were opened.
I do not particularlly care for cats. Never quite know what they are thinking. I have been bitten a few times when I worked at a vets office in high school.
We have a barn and we put out food and water for the ferrel cats but that is where my commitment ended until Ava killed a mother cat, leaving me with three hungry mouths to feed.
My little kitty family is older than yours. Already spayed and neutered. Perhaps six months. They are cometely devoted to me and vise versa.
They have to be contained to the loft or Ava would send them to meet their real mother.
This is my first exlerience bottle feeding. I really love those kittens. Two girls and a boy.
I enjoyed bottle feeding her, but she was big enough I could sleep through the night and not have to get up every few hours. When I had to bottle feed an entire litter from just a few days old and tube feed one of them it was draining! I was a little sad when I had to ween her, but I knew I didn't want a grown cat trying to bottle feed.
She is a sweet little thing, gets along with the dogs, and the other cats and knows not to mess with miss princess Fluff.
I will get her spayed before too long, I don't want her to go into her first heat with all the tomcats we have in the neighborhood.
She really is into everything though.
Tonight I almost shut her in the fridge, she has jumped in the dryer when I was doing laundry, thank god I didn't slam the door and start it right away! I just have too keep and eye out and make sure She isn't somewhere dangerous.
She is doing really well and is going to get spayed in two weeks, and is now a permanent resident without a doubt. I just love her.
But she is still as stuck to me as ever and really pushy.
The minute I sit down she is either on my lap or on my shoulder, and she sleeps under the covers with me. She also follows me around talking to me most of the time.
Thankfully she is pretty well behaved and gentle most of the time or she would really be a handful!
