What a unique looking Pit Bull.....I think the reporter screwed up and left the picture in*******sigh*******
If you read down it talks about how the boys opened themselves up to the attack by kicking at the dogs and breaking the fence. Who knows what to believe...I just got a shiver looking at the picture.

Um, a few lines above this quote the reporter stated that an eye witness saw the boys teasing the dogs by kicking down the fence that enclosed them?! Not that I'm in favor of dogs attacking children, but it sounds like this kid was looking for trouble...
Aside from that, the comments at the end of the story sum up a general consensus of frustration - the situation sounds unfortunate, and unfair, but there are more and more people who are savvy to the press these days for sensationalizing dog attacks by using "pit bulls" to sell their stories - at least this paper is getting some public gruff for it. Maybe they'll think twice next time they need a caption for a sad old lab mix...
