can you *rent* these books through an inter-library loan or other source? I find you remember/learn from these kinds of books the first time.
Do you have any leerburg dvd's? I have only seen three (obedience, pack structure, marker) and would recommend all of them to anyone. I believe it is the pack structure dvd that has a nice clip of two dogs interacting where one is an annoying young dog and the other one administers a correction after looking to Cindy for protection.
She has a dvd of it, but it is only 1/2 hr or 45 mins and is repetitive and took me 3 times to finish. Again, I would rent.
The dog whisperer tv show dvds have helped me learn a LOT about dog behavior/interactions/body language. I have watched each episode of the two seasons I own at least 3 times, some more. I get something new every time whether it is Cesar's posture, what he explains, etc.
Don't know about renting. I haven't checked. I do have a bunch of leerburg DVD's and have watched pack structure. I did watch that part of pack structure. I just wanted some more information as I feel the more I know the better I can prepare myself for any situation and I just love to try and figure out what is going on in that head of theirs.
Thanks for the input and I will take a look at that link you gave me.
I didn't realize Leerburg stocked any body language books. I'm going to have to check them out. I have looked at the ones on that website, and as Cindy says aren't worth the money.
I am impressed that Brenda Aloof's book is almost 400 pages...I may have to buy that.

I also have two of Brenda Aloof's books. The most recent purchase was the body language book. But, even the other book had a lot of useful information on body language. And, I think they were both worth the money.
