I am sorry to hear the outcome of this. However I am happy that she was lucky enough to find some people that actually cared about and for her in her final days here.

Oh my God! I cannot believe the amount of replies this has gotten. Thank you all so very much. I am unable to go back and read them all as our internet connection is less than stellar over here and i will time out before I even could. This is the first chance I have been able to get back to this in the last two days for reasons I cannot disclose; however, I felt that i should give an update for anyone who had read my question.
To my broken heart, our little puppy did not make it. She was in such terrible shape that i couldn't even hide behind my denial anymore. We did our best to put her to sleep as peacefully as possible. Our platoon medic administered a large dose of morphine to her. I hope she is in a better place and can forgive us for failing her. Thank you all so very much for help.
