I was trying to find a quick solution for his sake. Naeema
I'm no expert but I know that this is not going to be a quick solution. This could take months even longer to get the dog to trust you and be calm around other dogs. It might never. I know you are trying to help but it really sounds like this might be to much for you to handle.
I wish you the best. Their is a ton of good information on the forum and Ed's website. Use it.
Thanks Connie on that note I will do whats best for her then. I just want whats best for her and everyone. Your right about the anxiety will not be good for the other older female here, she already went through too much. I will focus on my youngest right now and achieve with him first before taken in another dog which I am going to get a puppy the next time(the calmest one in the litter) never again an adult unless I was a very strong pack leadership which I wont gain until I start doing all the steps of being the best Pack leader in my family. Thank you again.
Thanks Chris
I know its too much for me to handle as my daily life is stress right now. Connie has help me so much with information and even though I know I have to give her up I am still going to do the steps on becoming a good pack leader and follow all rules that apply in it. Thank you all
Naeema
Thats great that you have the desire and positive attitude to get things right. I just hope that it doesn't run you down because it can very easily. If your up for it great. I wish you the best and hope you can give us some positive updates. Good luck, Connie and the rest of the LB forum have great advice. It will start with some good pack stucture.
Just wanted to say when Lola "big bone shepherd" went to new home she did great with less dogs around her only two for the meantime until her transport to Iowa in May where she will be living on 300 acres I believe or it was less then that. She will be helping to guard the house & live stock if she dont eat them.
She has been running freely in her temporary yard, listening very well, not distracted by other dogs & always looking to play. She was more scared of the ladys two dogs there. She was more on a defense mode where we live due to 8 dogs living next door across the street two dogs and then our 3 dogs that are here. With that out of the way she is great. For those who were concerned she is doing great.
