hey there everyone I've recently got a new rottie female pup (2nd Rottie 1st female dog ever) and she seems pretty solid with her nerves; motorcycles, heavy traffic, people, and large men all don't phase her (haven't been able to test a gun shot yet) ... also she's picked up quiet quickly basic obedience so I'm really interested in bringing her training to the next level when she's old enough.Any suggestions for a well suited sport for her and I? I don't have too much experience in starting from scratch but I'd assume that would be easier than taking an aggressive dog and making him a well mannered house dog.
hi there, I have just started rall-o (rally-obedience) with my rottie, it is a lot of fun ! I am still learning things and hve a lot of training to do as I have one of those somewhat lazy and quick to get bored rotties!
Hi Jaylene... your post on the other thread caught my eye. I wasn't familiar w/rally-o before, so I looked it up. wow, that looks like fun!
I'm pretty new here, too. I've got a pit-x right now that loves to do sometimes (like when the temp is between 30 & 70, before lunch, maybe after dinner, if it's not too windy... LOL) & I've been looking for fun things to do w/her. Thanks for turning me on to the sport.
We probably won't ever compete (there's precious little happening out here in that way) but anything to keep her mind occupied!
