Meanwhile, if you want to use your new food, I'd suggest that you consider combining it with another one (not Purina -- lol) that might have less of a pudding-poop effect, such as one of the two I posted on the other board. A small package would be a good idea, since you seem to be gearing up for raw. And this is the place to get help and support for that.

I kinda "thought" that this was the forum you were thinking about. Being a member on both helps give me additional perspective - I think. Listen, I have no qualms about chucking it and going cold turkey if that is what I should do. Although I would prefer to make the switch on Saturday so that I can be there to make sure he gets outside when he needs rather than be in a crate while I am at work on his first day on the raw diet. (Funny, I just re-read what I wrote and it assumes I'm going to have poop issues by switching from what he's eating to raw - just what I'm trying to fix. Humans - funny creatures). No, I am not an alien!
