Peter, this forum was what I meant by "good links" for learning raw, when you posted on another board.
Meanwhile, if you want to use your new food, I'd suggest that you consider combining it with another one (not Purina -- lol) that might have less of a pudding-poop effect, such as one of the two I posted on the other board. A small package would be a good idea, since you seem to be gearing up for raw. And this is the place to get help and support for that.
Actually the amount of remaining Blue Buffalo is probably 3 - 4 days worth.
I kinda "thought" that this was the forum you were thinking about. Being a member on both helps give me additional perspective - I think.
Listen, I have no qualms about chucking it and going cold turkey if that is what I should do. Although I would prefer to make the switch on Saturday so that I can be there to make sure he gets outside when he needs rather than be in a crate while I am at work on his first day on the raw diet. (Funny, I just re-read what I wrote and it assumes I'm going to have poop issues by switching from what he's eating to raw - just what I'm trying to fix. Humans - funny creatures).
