Sometimes human nature confounds me regarding people's attitude toward animals =:0 As a strong Christian I know that I am to be a good caretaker of His creation and if I can avoid using products that I know are either harvested unnecessarily or cruelly I shall do so. I guess I will be vilified here but personally I adopt homeless dogs and I try to help prevent cruelty to animals. Enough said but thanks again for the info about the oils, all I want to do is help my dog the best I can.

You're right, they are allowed to use a Hakipak. Found that on the sealoil.com website too.
Everybody is entitled to make their own decisions on this sort of thing for sure. However, who is to say that harvesting fish or krill is any different from harvesting seals?
Not trying to start a debate about seal hunting, that's for sure!

You might want to look into algae as a long-chain Omega 3 source. I Googled it and saw many returns.
