I've seen True do this to the spayed female down the road and it didn't seem like a dominance thing either. I hope Neb at least got the right location...True is always aiming for Shadow's ear!
Off-topic, but that reminds me of my first ever bunny, Thomas. I adopted a female rabbit (and got her fixed; Thomas was already neutered) named Tiffany (I named neither of them!!!). They used to hump each other all the time, especially when they were excited around feeding time. Thomas used to hump her face all the time, and people would be like 'doesn't your rabbit even know which end to pick?' and I was like 'DON'T PLACE YOUR BORING SEX LIVES ON THOMAS!!!'
Heh....anyways.
So....does anyone think separating their crates into different rooms would help? I'm getting the impression not really but if anyone has any thoughts....I don't really want to, I like having them both in the 'dog room', but....
Yeah...for what its worth, Hambone is fixed and he wanted Miz Lucy. She is a chaste little thing and was horrified by what happened...
So, neutering Neb may not keep him from getting excited. On the other hand, neutered or not, Hambone kept his muscle mass since I didn't neuter him until he was over a year old.
Poor Neb...damned if ya do and damned if ya don't.
You know, most of the time the ladies here on Leerburg are pretty nice. But sometimes, you just seem to be so sexist! Did it ever occur to you that Teagan may be leading Neb on?
Wiggling her behind in his face to encourage sniffing? Rolling over on her back to display her five sets of teats? Using that sexy walk of hers to get Neb excited while Jennifer is trying to exercise? Noooo, you all just automatically assume it is the boys fault.

In all seriousness though Rich, I hate to shoot down your theory (which made me laugh), but while Teagan doesn't freak out at his sniffing, the mounting - let's just say if I allowed it to go unchecked I'm pretty sure I'd be dealing with a hardcore correction from Teagan to Neb. The few times he's managed to sneak in a start before I caught him she whips her head around in a not very nice way. (which, fair enough, my job to stop her from being pestered by a lovelorn Neb)
Hmmm. She leads him on, then turns on him and humiliates him when he does what come naturally. Doesn't that sound like every high school drama you've ever heard of?
