Our ISP went down for 30 minutes this afternoon.
We have our own servers and they were fine. The problem was the actual ISP. Our ISP is one of the largest in the country and their entire business was down. We have not heard what happened yet - but it had to be a very high level internet switch that failed for a company this large to go down.
In the years we have been with them this has never happened.
It seems to be running fine right now - probably in better shape than my nerves.
Should something like this happen in the future - rest assure we know about it and are on top of it. We an independant company that calls our cell phones within a minute of the server going down.
