Just want to say I have had wonderful results using dried nettle herb (usually found in bulk at local hfs or online mountainroseherbs.com). I take 1/3 cup of dried nettles and put in quart mason jar and cover with boiling water, leave overnight. I don't bother to strain as a little bit of leaves won't hurt, I put at least a tablespoon of liquid (per 50lbs)on food twice a day. You can also use a capsule (per 50lbs) of freeze dried nettles with each meal if you prefer but the tea is cheap and easy (and you would be surprise how good it tastes when it is cold, very good for humans as a great source of minerals but also for anyone with allergies). I also add a dropperful of licorice tincture (in glycerine not alcohol) twice a day if needed. Animal Apawthecary makes Spring Tonic for allergies but that can be expensive with a large dog.
Two questions. Living in Florida with things blooming all the time and terrible pollen, can I keep my boy on Clear Allerqi daily? It has help.
Also I have the Calm and Relax for him. He is very hyper in the evenings even after a day of exercise and 4 walks a day. Can I give him a little Calm and Relax in the evening to calm him down a little.? He's 14 months old. Thanks
