He answered his own question. He doesn't need any help from you or any of the experienced handlers! He can teach himself!
LOL
Troll.

Dogs don't have ESP. Regardless of your INTENT, it's still defense-illiciting.
I'm sorry you take advice and knowledge given freely as lecturing. See how easily intent goes out the window? I had no intent of putting you into defense, and yet, here we are...
I'm shocked there are no cheaper clubs. Mine costs $110 per YEAR.
At least, go to a Michael Ellis seminar.
I'll leave off giving advice unless specifically solicited, I can see we have a commo barrier.
There are two I've found within 70 miles of my home, both charge $25 per Saturday, plus club fees, and then $50 for the temperament test. $125 a day for a seminar is laughable at this point. If I had that money it'd go straight into car maintenance, because that's needed.
I have nothing more to say to you on this subject.

I have seen more than one handler express surprise and disbelief (and finally dismay) when it was pointed out to them that were eliciting a defense response.
Then there's no such thing as play? Everything is always defense and aggression? That doesn't seem to make much sense.

Kinda like this maybe Connie?

I was putting too much pressure on him at the same time he was coming in strong and pushing the tug too far back into his mouth.
Translation: I accidentally shoved the tug too far into his mouth because I expected him to give it his usual 1/2-3/4 bite. Taking things out of context just to prove a point is for the lose.

This is a non-issue to me. I know what it was play because I was actually there. None of you were. I've never met a good teacher who made wild assumptions and absolute statements without even seeing what they were working with. Thank you, good day. I'm over this topic.
