My mother-in-law pressure cooks things a lot and in my experience with what comes out of there, the bones are still getting cooked just like if you were to boil them. I think that qualifies them for 'cooked bones' and would make them more dangerous than raw.
Hambone is now eating THK Force and Keen with some raw meat and every now and then, some bits of Lucy's natural balance Sweet potato and venison kibble -- no grains in it. the only grains he is getting now is the oats in the Keen.

I thought so. THK with raw meat is a fine diet for Hambone, IMHO.
I would skip the kibble. THK is not baked (just low-temp dehydrated), and is a good partner for raw meat. Kibble is best kept out of a raw diet, IMHO.
But I thought I remembered that Hambone was on a very good version of raw for his challenges, and he is.
Wow!
That is VERY interesting, very detailed, and makes a lot more sense than the arguments it's rebutting, not to mention that its assertions seem to be much better documented.

Good work, Michael! That excellent site has been presented and discussed here many times, but only you remembered to include it here. Right where it belongs!
It's a great counter to the O'Heare eBooks. It errs a bit on the topic of produce, but it's otherwise well-thought-out and, as you say, far more compelling than the material it rebuts.

Yeah. I think they are right about not eating the stomach contents of large prey, BUT.....there is still some stomach contents stuck to the stomach that they do eat, and as has been said time and time again, small prey is eaten in its entirety. Stomach contents and all.
They say it right there on that site whether they meant to or not.
That's enough reasoning for me to put some produce in the diet.
