Wendy Wagoner Webboard User Reg: 06-11-2009 Posts: 7 Loc: Offline	Hi, I have a 6 month old Welsh Corgi. She knows the sit command but will pop back up after she has been rewarded. How can I get her to remain in a sit position after she's been rewarded. Thanks...Great website!!!! -Wendy

If you are, then the marker is the end of the command, and you gradually (very gradually) build in duration before the marker is given. Marker/reward = command is over.

In agility we will treat a dog as it is holding a contact, but it doesn't leave til it is released, same with a down on the table. Treat for the down, and while down, and a release. I don't know if that would pertain to just a sit command, I would think it would.
