Hi Steve--It's a footstep track. I tried trenching once but it didn't work at all--Quinn hardly moved forward. The video shows only his 5th circle track. One of the really unusual things that happened is that with his first couple of tracks he would change direction often. Then all of a sudden on his third track, even when he loses his way, he turns & keeps going in the right direction.
I'm using kibble as bait--a few pieces in each footstep. The sprinklers went off after the track was layed so this track is probably aged over half-an-hour.
Hey Sue, I'm curious about the circle track. Whats the benefit to it over the scent pads and straight tracks? Other then going forward, whats the idea or thinking behind it?
