Ok so phoenix has been without a close kennel for almost a year.
Well a few weeks ago I forgot to take her out and she peed on the floor.
Ever sense then she pees in tha same spot everytime we leave. And at night
So I started kenneling her again thinking after I cleaned the spot and left it for a few days this would stop.
So we went back to our normal routine after a week. she stills is peeing in that area. Its not the same spot but close. I want so bad to just rubb her nose in it but I know thats not going to fix anything of course she knows better.
Why would she start this all the sudden. I dont want to have to go back to kenneling her but where moving into a new apartment soon and I cant aford her to mess up thos carpets.
Is there a reason why she would start doing this no UTI already took her to the vet for something else had them check.
I would definitely start over again with the house training.
There is also a product called Urine Away that you can get. It actually has active enzymes that break down and destroy waste. That way she will not associate that one spot with a potty area. It can be harmful if ingested by animals/people, so keep it out of reach and rinse the area well after you follow the directions on the bottle!
I have used the product with many of my own dogs and fosters and it helped a lot!
