Wow way to call it! They do indeed have parasites. I think they had them way before raw or maybe raw just made it more noticable. I had said Chief's stomache was very sensitive. They found whip worms. I'm so glad for this website or I might never have gone raw nor had the sense to have a parasite check today.

Good job.
Yes, of course you're correct that raw food is not where the dog(s) picked up whipworms.
I forgot to thank everyone for their input so far. The hard part is getting them(the whip worms) out of the yard. I'm supposed to clean up so they can't reinfect themselves, but it's pretty hard to clean up runs. I've sprayed the spots with bleach spray which will probably kill the already spotted grass, hopefully it will kill the larvae. It's supposed to t-storm tonight so it will get washed off. The link says to throw away toys. Do you think I could run the kongs and the nylabones through the dishwasher?
OK thanks, I threw out a few nyla bones already. Bolt is a nervous chewer. I'm hoping raw is going to stop some of that. I though I changed the last post but according to the link the eggs are darn near impossible to kill. Chief had these wroms as a puppy so they probably just reinfected him. He used to eat his poop and had Gabby doing it for a while there. Chief's runny poop has dried in the sun like a coating on the grass so maybe the sun will have destroyed some of those eggs though the drying process.
