I over heard the female trainer say that while doing Ob, and the dog/puppy breaks the down/sit, to bark at something. That the dog should be squrinted in the face with water from a squrint bottle. Does this work? It seem to work on the younger puppies. Some of the puppies would back up and shake its head. But not the 6-12 month old puppies, so much? Some turned to bark at the owner. Really it was more a yelp maybe bark. Is it to perused, distract or correct? How successful is this technique?

This is just for dogs that bark. The stream is not aimed at the dog's face, just at the dog. If the dog continues to bark or the squirt increases their arousal, then she does not recommend its use.
