I gave Greta Noodle her first dose of Salmon Oil and Vitamin E last night and noticed soft stool this morning. It was drippy as it came out and soft serve ice cream looking on ground.
Is that grounds for stopping the oil or is that expected?
She's been eating raw for 12 days. Prior to this her stools have been nice logs.
I'm not at home or I'd post how much I gave. I followed the instructions on the bottle for the Salmon Oil (1 squirt for her weight) and gave her about 200-300 of Vit E.
I feed canned mackeral or Salmon, if I were to give them a whole 12 oz can they get loose stool, I cut it back to half a can or less. not a raw feeder but I thought I could add my fish experience

How much does she weigh? Unless this is a teeny dog, I'd kind of doubt the fish oil is the culprit.
But anyway, you can always wait until you see logs again, then slowly add the fish oil over the course of three or four days, 1/4 dose, then check for logs, then 1/2 dose, check for logs, etc.
When you say 200-300 Vitamin E, what do you mean? A gelcap of 200 IU?
The Vitamin E is a gelcap and it's 400 IU. When I fed her I squirted a little bit into one of the other dog's food and the rest in hers so my 200-300 is a real rough estimate.
