I guess this is just a "me too" to Connie's post. I recommend the investment in the two videos and have my card number ready and waiting for the next release!
I am working with new dogs as I lost my two older dogs this year. I was rusty on the creating the proper relationship and shaping the basic obedience skills. Just in time, the first Michael Ellis DVD came and training just took off with both of my dogs.
Good for you, Carla!
The first one goes into good detail about the concepts of marker training and operant conditioning. And the Michael Ellis food one shows how to organize your training program around markers. That's the front part of your program – the rest will be the tug DVD when it comes out.
